(A) Installation of a 750-bbl/day capacity Condensate Fractionation Plant at Kailashtilla Field

A feasibility study for setting up a 750-bbl/day condensate fractionation plant aimed at fractionating Jalalabad Gas Field’s condensate into motor spirit, kerosene oil and diesel has has already been completed. This is a self financed project. DPP has been prepared and presented to the company board.

 

 

 

 

   

(B) Drilling of five new wells at Kailashtilla, Rashidpur and Sylhet (Haripur) Field

3-dimensional seismic survey would be conducted at Kailashtilla, Rashidpur and Sylhet (Haripur) Fields. The project is aimed at delineating the extent of gas reserve at RGF, KGF and HGF. The project would be completed in December 2010. Based on the results of 3-D Seismic Survey, 2 new wells at KGF, 2 new wells at RGF and 1 new well at HGF would be drilled in future with a view to enhancing the gas production from these fields.

 

 

(C) Foreign Training

 

Foreign training will be arranged for development of human resources of SGFL.

 

 
  (D) Feasibility Study for setting up of a Petrochemical Plant  

 Feasibility study will be conducted to setup a Petrochemical Plant using natural gas and condensate as raw materials.
